The exhibition is the result of series workshops in the last two years with various groups throughout Iraq. In total, 100 artists from both genders and different age groups have participated through.

The history of comics in Iraq goes back to the 1960s. During that time, this form of art had become a part of the social life; however, it had started disappearing since the 1980th. Our goal, therefore, is to bring this form of art back and to contribute to the re-development of comics in Iraq.
